The enormous roar of the tsunamis on both sides made Aokiji beneath the execution platform raise his head.
He looked at the massive walls of seawater on either side, enough to swallow all of Marineford.
"Arara! Even at his age, he still has this kind of strength. Whitebeard really is a monster!"

Though he said that, his movements were not slow in the slightest.
In a flash, he appeared in midair above the center of Marine Headquarters' plaza.
He threw his arms wide, and two incredibly fast ice spikes spread through the air toward the tsunamis on both sides.
Ice Age!
The ice spikes instantly pierced the tsunamis. Then, with the spikes as their center, the towering walls of seawater that had seemed impossible to overcome were rapidly frozen into solid Ice Sculptures.
"W-w-we're saved? Admiral Kuzan did it!"
"Hurrah!"
Just as all the Marines wiped the sweat from their foreheads and felt relieved—

The bright sky overhead was suddenly obscured by some kind of shadow.
Drip!
A drop of seawater landed on Spandam's nose.
"Hm? Is it raining?"
Smack!
Just as Spandam prepared to look up, a watermelon-sized raindrop slammed him flat onto the ground.
The sudden rainfall made everyone look up at the sky, but the sight that entered their eyes filled them with terror, as though they had seen a ghost.
"W-what is that? Why is there such a huge mass of water in the sky?"
The enormous shadow seemed to have covered the sky over all of Marineford.
The sea breeze continued to whip the Marine and pirate flags.
Amid the rustling sounds, the mass of water descending from the sky looked like an entire sea crashing down.
"Gurarara, just as expected of you, Shiki! Your power is still as troublesome as ever.
