Just as Whitebeard's powerful Conqueror's Haki swept across the entire room,
a sound wave capable of bringing death
instantly enveloped Whitebeard, who had just opened his eyes inside the nutrient chamber.
A familiar presence that made everyone's hair stand on end caused them all to turn around.
They looked toward where the voice had come from.
"Lord Roy!"
"Wonderful, Lord Roy is back!!"
The corridor outside the laboratory was packed with people. All of Sky City's second-tier combat forces had gathered here, guarding against Whitebeard suddenly attacking after waking up.
Then, the crowded corridor parted on its own, opening up a path.
A figure slowly walked from the end of the corridor toward the enormous laboratory.
His appearance seemed to come with its own aura. The instant he appeared, he drew everyone's attention.
The black suit specially tailored by the World Government gave him a crisp, capable air.
His tie and hair were impeccably groomed, making Roy radiate calm composure and the noble bearing of a powerful man.
Roy's arrival silenced everyone present.
The Conqueror's Haki slowly receded before finally vanishing.
Tap, tap, tap!
The sound of leather shoes striking the floor was low and forceful.
When Roy stepped into the enormous laboratory,
beneath the glaring white light,
Roy's gaze collided with Whitebeard's somewhat bewildered eyes.
The atmosphere was strangely quiet and eerie. Roy and Whitebeard stared at each other as if they were the only two people in the world.
"Gurarara! I never thought you people would be the ones to save me.
Roy, is that your real name? Black Emperor.
Where is that bastard Shiki now? I still haven't settled the score with him over the Summit
