East Blue, the maritime power, the Carlos Kingdom.
The weather was bright and clear.
This prosperous island kingdom bustled with crowds in its streets, presenting a scene of thriving prosperity.
Yet beneath those flourishing streets, past thick layers of earth, lay an incomparably vast underground factory.
Small rail carts shuttled between the factory assembly lines and stockyards, their hoppers filled with ore as they rumbled along the tracks.
Meanwhile, the enormous assembly lines were no less active. Countless workers stood on either side, hammering away amid sharp metallic clangs.
"Rumble~~~~~~ Clang clang~~~~~~"
Inside the brightly lit workshop,
the roar of machinery intertwined with the sounds of metal striking metal.
Steel assembly lines ran without pause, like iron dragons stretching across the workshop.
Countless workers stood beside these dragons, coordinating and working together. At the end of the lines, steel ingots made a circuit through the iron dragons before being processed into roughly formed components.
Mechanical arms then carried these components onto another iron dragon.
This cycle repeated over and over. Under the workers' constant polishing and cutting, the crude steel ingots gradually became smooth and orderly, eventually turning into precision parts or sharp weapons.
By all logic, such an enormous factory should have required vast amounts of coal as fuel to provide power.
Yet this factory did not need coal, that basic smelting material, and its assembly lines ran on high-voltage batteries.
Small rail carts precisely transported mineral ore from the underground port far from the Carlos Kingdom to the enormous storage silos.
At the massive silos, workers carted this exceptionally high-quality ore load by load into the smelting workshop.
There was none of the traditional high heat in the smelting workshop. More accurately, the entire workshop contained only a conveyor belt for transporting ore.
At the end of that
