During this time, the Little Princess seemed to have suffered some kind of stimulation. Her cultivation realm erupted, and she soon broke through to Earth Grade. It was a terrifying rate of progress, one that even Ye Lang found astonishing.

Ye Lang had originally worried that such an explosive advance would leave the Little Princess with lingering problems, so he told her to slow down and carefully examined her realm. To his surprise, he found that her realm was extremely stable—more stable even than that of some people who had cultivated for many years.

A genius?

That seemed to be the only explanation. Other than saying that the Little Princess was a genius, what else could explain it?

Sometimes, Heaven was simply this unfair. Some things took people a lifetime to learn, and they might not even learn them in a lifetime, while others grasped them in an instant—or rather, comprehended them.

If she kept advancing at this pace, the Little Princess would reach Heaven Rank within three years. Of course, that was assuming she could maintain this pace all along.

Maintaining such a pace was difficult, because she would inevitably have hurdle after hurdle to cross. Sometimes, one could remain stalled before a single hurdle without making any progress.

That depended on a person's comprehension. Given the Little Princess's talent, she probably would not be blocked for too long, but such things were hard to say. Perhaps she might be halted by an exceedingly simple problem.

Sometimes, a question even a fool could understand would remain utterly incomprehensible to clever people. Comprehension was not a matter of whoever was smarter or more talented understanding first. At times, an ordinary person—or even a fool—might be the first to comprehend it.

As the saying went, it depended on fate. When the
