After Devouring the Black Emperor Sea Whale, Sou Shou's All Attributes had reached over six hundred thousand. He only knew that he had become extraordinarily powerful, but not exactly how powerful.
He did not leave. Instead, he was drawn by a streak of red light and followed it.
Before long, he arrived at a huge, pitch-black pit. Its depths resembled the cosmos itself, bottomless and unfathomable.
The red light was shining from within that enormous pit. His formidable strength and the mysterious object in his mind gave him immense confidence, so he plunged into the depths without hesitation.
After an unknown amount of time, he arrived at an abandoned palace. Its broken walls and ruins were covered in sea mud, while countless tiny creatures scurried about nearby.
The red light ended at a high platform within the palace. Sou Shou, in Dao Body form, flashed onto it.
Atop the palace platform stood a throne engraved with a four-headed beast. A red pearl was embedded in the throne, and the red light was emanating from that pearl.
Sou Shou stared at the pearl for a moment before reaching out to remove it.
The instant his hand touched the pearl, the entire treasure hall began to shake violently, and the red light shining from the pearl grew even brighter.
At a certain moment, with a soft whoosh, the red light actually gathered into an illusory red portal. It rotated like a whirlpool in water.
As time passed, it spun faster and faster, drawing in the surrounding objects and making them vanish into the vortex.
Sou Shou frowned. After thinking it over, he darted straight into the Vortex Portal.
After a dizzying whirl, Sou Shou appeared in a place shrouded in clouds and mist, where grand halls stood in rows.
