Chi Yu was preparing to work his creation, transforming the ants into human bodies.
Using his own Soul Eater bloodline as a foundation, he created a set of Shared data and injected it into the ants. The ordinary ants now possessed half the Soul Eater Ant bloodline.
As long as they possessed the Soul Eater Ant bloodline, aside from their innate flesh-devouring nature, they could cultivate and advance by Devouring the Divine Souls of those Self-Created Heaven's Mandates that entered their bodies.
As they advanced, they would in turn feed back several times the gains to Chi Yu.
That day, all of Zhu He Island rumbled as strange phenomena unfolded and Ten Thousand Rays of Light shone forth.
Before long, the rays fell upon the ants' bodies. The ants began to advance and transform, their ranks soaring.
After an unknown amount of time, they grew enormous. Dark clouds suddenly gathered overhead, lightning flashed and thunder roared, and bolts of lightning descended from the sky to strike the ants' bodies.
After another unknown period of time, the ants' bodies began to crack, and humans emerged from within them one after another.
At that point, the phenomena ceased, and the sky returned to clarity.
The billions of ants transformed into human form advanced and knelt before Chi Yu.
"We greet Ant Emperor Your Majesty and the Ant Queen."
"Rise!"
With a sweep of Chi Yu's hand, all the ants stood. Looking at the dark and overwhelming expanse of humanoid troops, Chi Yu nodded in satisfaction.
Next came the slaughter across all of Zhu He Island. Chi Yu immediately issued an imperial decree, dispatching the billions-strong army. They used the Soul Eater method without harming the spiritual bodies, and soon Devoured the Divine Souls of every living being
