Hyuga Kei watched Sasori fall in battle, then took Sasori’s puppets and regeneration core while allowing Chiyo and Sakura to leave. Deidara escaped with Gaara’s body, but Kakashi saved Naruto and Gaara from an explosion, and Naruto vowed revenge after discovering Gaara had died.
