Roshi barely raised a wall of magma before him to block the attack, but azure beams continued to break through his defenses and strike his body.
"If you trust me, jump into the magma behind you. I'll make sure you survive!" Four-Tails Son Goku said gravely.
"But..." Roshi hesitated. Even though he was a Lava Release ninja who could control magma, there was no way he could swim through it.
Four-Tails Son Goku said, "No buts. That man wants me. We're tied to the same rope now."
Roshi gritted his teeth. If he did not listen to the Four-Tails, he would be captured immediately. He might as well risk it all; even if he died, he could die with some dignity.
"Fine! To hell with it!" Roshi cursed as he leaped backward into the volcanic magma.
Was he about to pull out some hidden power?
Hyuga Kei was very familiar with this kind of plot. Whenever the righteous side was pushed into a corner, they would do something utterly unimaginable, then launch a sudden strike just as the villain let down his guard.
The volcano suddenly erupted. Scalding magma spewed forth like floodwaters bursting through a dam, fiery red lava surging and rolling with endless heat and destructive force as it shot toward the sky.
In an instant, thick smoke billowed up and blotted out the sky, as though the end of the world had arrived.

Within the searing magma, Roshi's body underwent a transformation as he entered a complete Tailed Beast Transformation. Four-Tails Son Goku bathed in magma and climbed out of the volcano.
The Four-Tails' enormous body was covered in scorching magma, radiating a fearsome power. Roshi and the Four-Tails had fused into one, their eyes burning with fury.
