After rapidly regrouping, Hyuga Kei's escort team set out again. Temari got dressed and followed closely beside Hyuga Kei, tears glistening in her eyes.

After a forced march, the group quickly entered Sunagakure, where Chiyo and the Sunagakure high command were already waiting.

Chiyo looked at Temari beside Hyuga Kei, her expression somewhat grim. She hated her own incompetence; they had actually needed a ninja from the village to sacrifice her body.

"Senior Chiyo, it has been a long time." Hyuga Kei extended his hand, and the two shook hands.

Chiyo said, "Mr. President, you are as impressive as ever. As for me, I already have one foot in the grave."

Hyuga Kei smiled faintly. "You jest, Senior Chiyo. You are still young."

"Please, come inside. We have prepared some tea."

"That will not be necessary. I accepted someone's request." Hyuga Kei glanced sideways at Temari beside him. "Take us to see the patient first."

Temari quickly bowed in thanks. "Thank you, Mr. President."

Chiyo became even more convinced of her judgment. Hearing those words, she felt even more ashamed.

"This way, everyone."

The group arrived outside the ward. Hyuga Kei saw Kankuro lying unconscious inside, his life hanging by a thread. He was breathing rapidly, as though enduring immense suffering even in his coma.

Hyuga Kei stepped forward. A Sunagakure medical ninja was about to hand him the examination report.

"No need." Hyuga Kei waved his hand, and a foot-long white snake separated from his arm. The little snake opened its mouth, bit Kankuro's arm, and began extracting the virus.

Seeing this, Chiyo let out a soft sigh and placed a hand on Temari's shoulder. "You have suffered, Temari."

Temari's face instantly reddened further. "Grandma Chiyo, I'm fine... No, that is... Mr. President did not do anything to me."
