With that in mind, Hun Sha approached the Chaos Demon Heavenly Emperor brimming with confidence.
Hun Qing stood calmly where he was, silently awaiting his fate.
After a while, Hun Qing watched Hun Sha exchange a few quiet words with the Chaos Demon Heavenly Emperor. Father and son seemed to be speaking in hushed tones.
Hun Sha had looked astonished when he first stepped onto the dais. After hearing a few words, though, he gave a cold laugh. He glanced at Hun Qing, something peculiar in his gaze.
At last, the Chaos Demon Heavenly Emperor patted Hun Sha on the shoulder and told him to step down.
When Hun Sha descended, his expression was cold and haughty, utterly unlike before. He never once looked at Hun Qing, yet everyone could sense the superiority he felt toward him.
Hun Qing had long since grown used to such treatment and paid it no mind.
Just as he thought it was over and he could leave, a voice rang out again.
"Hun Qing, come here too. I have something to say to you."

Hun Qing was surprised, but he had no reason to defy him, so he stepped onto the dais.
"Greetings, Lord Han." Hun Qing bowed, then turned to the Chaos Demon Heavenly Emperor. "Father, what instructions do you have for me?"
"Hun Qing, I have an opportunity that could make either you or Hun Sha a Ten-Thousand Battles Student outright." The Chaos Demon Heavenly Emperor stopped there.
Hun Qing remained composed. When the Chaos Demon Heavenly Emperor said no more, he cupped his hands. "What are you trying to tell me, Father?"
