Before the Mechanical Platform, Ning Zhuo had already been working for most of the day.

Ning Zhuo activated the Mechanical Platform, releasing a sharp beam of golden light that split the jade bamboo lengthwise along its natural lightning patterns.

In an instant, the inner walls of the cavity appeared before Ning Zhuo's eyes, covered in lightning markings that spiraled upward all the way through.

Ning Zhuo could not help recalling what the Book of Original Sound Reeds had said—lightning patterns guided qi; they were melodic sound tracks carved by heaven and earth with thunder as the blade.

Ning Zhuo took out the North Ice Crystal Sand and poured all of it into the Cyan Jade Lotus Leaf Cup, mixing it thoroughly with the Spring Equinox Rootless Water.
