Rotten Muddy Mountain could be considered one of Southern Border's famous mountains.
If it were located in Southern Border, Eastern Sea, or Northern Plains, it might have enjoyed greater renown. However, Southern Border had many mountains, and among the five regions, it possessed the greatest number of famous mountains. As a result, Rotten Muddy Mountain did not stand out and struck people as utterly ordinary.

During the rainy season, temporary swamps formed within Rotten Muddy Mountain. The rotten mud transformed into rotten stinking swamp mud within those swamps, and the latter was a widely used Gu Refining Auxiliary Material.
In winter, rotten mud combined with ice and snow dao marks, transforming into rotten mud frozen soil. It was likewise an extremely common resource. Because it was very fertile, mixing it into ordinary soil produced outstanding results when cultivating wheat seedlings, vegetables, and fruit. Thus, many Southern Border villages used it.
Furthermore, rotten mud frozen soil was the food of the Stinky Fart Fat Worm. Therefore, Rotten Muddy Mountain also produced Stinky Fart Fat Worms in abundance.
The Stinky Fart Fat Worm was a Rank 1 Gu worm of the Poison Dao. It resembled the Black Pig Gu and was often used by unscrupulous merchants in Gu Master markets to pass it off as Black Boar Gu.
Similar in name to the Stinky Fart Fat Worm was the Stinky Fart Gu, which was also a Rank 1 Poison Dao Gu worm. Like the Stinky Fart Fat Worm, the Stinky Fart Gu existed in vast numbers on Rotten Muddy Mountain.
Those who lived by the mountain ate from the
