Run! Run! Run!
A shadow, like a flying snake, sped through the wild grass.
A moment later, the shadow scattered with a whoosh, its momentum abruptly vanishing. Hei Cheng fell out, crashing straight into the weeds.
A clear stream trickled past, right before his eyes.
Hei Cheng panted heavily, sprawled on the ground without even the strength to turn over for the moment.
His condition was abysmal.
His whole body was covered in countless wounds. Some were so deep that bone showed, while others still gushed blood. Pain surged from all over his body, but Hei Cheng had already gone numb.
These injuries had all been left behind during his earlier fierce battles with the Hei Family pursuit party.
If the Hei Family had not wanted to capture Hei Cheng alive, given his abilities, he would not have been able to escape time and again.
"Have I nearly reached my limit..." Hei Cheng's heart was bleak. He gritted his teeth and pushed up his upper body. Looking at his reflection in the stream, he could not help but laugh bitterly.
He had once been suave and handsome, elegant and dashing. Now, however, his face was pale, his lips blue, his body covered in blood as he fled for his life across the world.
Suddenly, Hei Cheng's pupils shrank to pinpoints. Like a startled venomous snake, he curled his body up with lightning speed.
"Who is it?!" A fierce light shot from Hei Cheng's eyes as he shouted toward a certain patch of grass.
The next moment, with a boom, airwaves rolled out and countless stalks of wild grass were uprooted, revealing a broad path.
Hei Lou Lan wore a mask as she strode out in great steps.
From her dark eyes blazed hatred that seeped into the marrow.
"It's you!"
