But my editor gave me a great opportunity. (Thanks to my wonderful editor, Lan Guang, for helping me get through review so many times, hahaha.) This was my second book on Qidian.

My previous book, "I Don't Dare Play This Game Anymore," was a team-adventure monk story. Its original dungeons were quite interesting, but I lacked experience in designing satisfying moments and character images, so its final results weren't ideal. Still, I saw it through from beginning to end and never abandoned it.

(I still remembered how I'd often finish dinner with clients late at night, then fear I'd fall asleep from exhaustion once I got home, so I'd sit on a park bench with my phone and update several times, hahaha.)

Readers could rest assured and keep following—this author wasn't dead yet, updates would continue~ And thus "Master, What Dao Do You Cultivate?" was born.

After finishing my first book, I reflected painfully on my mistakes, reworked my ideas, and read some interesting books. It felt like the clouds had parted and the moon had appeared.

For example, I used to wonder how something like "daily life" could possibly be interesting.

After reading quite a few books, I discovered that what mattered about "daily life" was the "daily" part. (Just kidding.)

Before this, I'd planned a tragic cyberpunk story, but after turning it over and over in my mind, I rejected it. I felt that light, exhilarating novels packed with satisfying moments were more enjoyable. (Couldn't be helped—I was just that vulgar. Isn't having fun what we read novels for?)
