No One Can Leave

Yuan Ming used Shadowless Step, his figure flickering slightly as he shifted half a zhang to the side, easily dodging Zan Bai's sneak attack.

Three green arrows struck the wall behind him, exploding almost simultaneously. A large cloud of green mist rapidly spread in all directions.

"Poisonous!" Yuan Ming immediately held his breath and waved his hand.

A dark gray bead shot out, landing on the ground near the cave entrance.

With a muffled "poof," a large cloud of smoke erupted from nowhere, instantly filling the entire cave and spilling outwards. It obscured the situation inside, making anyone hesitant to act rashly.

"A mere trick!" Wubao snorted. A green light flashed on his finger as he once again attempted to summon a strong wind to disperse the smoke.

Just then, the ground beneath his feet suddenly cracked open, and a sharp wooden spike shot up rapidly.

Wubao tensed and quickly leaped to the side, narrowly avoiding having his foot impaled. However, his attempt to summon the wind was interrupted.

Before Wubao or Jin Kun's groups could react, another black bead was shot out from the cave under the cover of the smoke, landing on the ground outside.

Large clouds of mist billowed out again, mingling and churning with the smoke filling the cave, enveloping a wide area.

Inside the cave, Yuan Ming covered his nose with his hand and moved to a stone wall deep within. He pushed with all his might.

The stone wall slowly moved, revealing a pitch-black passage. This stone wall was actually a large, cut stone.

Yuan Ming slipped inside and pushed the stone back into place, then hurried towards the back exit of the cave.

He had long anticipated that the Green Wolf Gang might come looking for him and had made preparations. His previous actions were merely delaying tactics. By the time Wubao and the others outside noticed something was wrong, they would have already escaped far away.

"Now is not the time for idle chatter, let's go!" Yuan Ming grabbed Hagon and they ran forward.

The two weaved through the dark cave for a full fifteen minutes before finally reaching the back exit. Yuan Ming used the Fur Transformation Technique to turn into his White Ape form and punched out. The large stone blocking the back door shattered with a roar.

The two darted out and were about to flee into the distance when the ground suddenly lit up with yellow light, forming a yellow net that enveloped them.

Yuan Ming was startled. He concentrated all his mana into his legs. His already thick legs instantly grew by another thirty percent, muscles bulging as he powerfully stomped on the ground.

Boom!

The ground cracked, forming a shallow pit, and Yuan Ming shot into the sky, escaping just as the yellow net closed.

Hagon, however, was not so lucky. He was trapped within the yellow net, unable to move.

"A talisman!" Yuan Ming landed about ten feet away, his pupils contracting. He flipped his hand, drew the Azure Fish Sword, and slashed at the net.

Two blade-like golden lights shot out from the side, aiming for his legs.

Yuan Ming quickly retracted his hand and used Shadowless Step on his feet, shifting several feet sideways in mid-air, narrowly dodging the golden blades.

Seven or eight figures shot out from the nearby jungle, surrounding them tightly. Leading them was a humanoid Exotic Beast with a pointed head and a fat body, small bean-like green eyes, and a long, thin golden tail trailing behind it. It looked like a giant humanoid rat.

The giant rat's fur was dark gold. The fur on its back was particularly long and stood on end like a hedgehog's. Its two front claws were also pale gold, and its claws were as sharp as steel drills.

Most of the surrounding smoke dispersed, allowing Wubao and Jin Kun to spot Yuan Ming's location and charge towards him.

Yuan Ming's heart skipped a beat. He punched out with both fists, a white light flashing across his chest and abdomen as a third ape-like arm emerged, striking a Furred Beast Slave blocking his path.

Bang, bang, bang! Three Furred Beast Slaves were sent flying.

However, more figures surged forward, making it impossible to fight them all. Wubao and Jin Kun followed closely, flanking him as if held back by some unspoken consideration, neither making a move.
