"Is that it? How was it here?" Yuan Ming looked at the Silver Cat's nimble, slender figure, his mind a tangled mess.
In his daze, Yuan Ming saw the Silver Cat stop not far ahead of him and turn back to glance at him.
Though the scene was clearly illusory, Yuan Ming distinctly saw the Silver Cat's mismatched pupils. His muddled mind seemed to jolt awake, clearing somewhat.
For some reason, he actually felt that the Silver Cat seemed to be waiting for him.
Subconsciously, Yuan Ming raised his foot and chased after the Silver Cat, though his steps were still somewhat unsteady.
Yet as soon as he drew close, the Silver Cat darted forward, rounded a protruding black rock, and vanished.
Yuan Ming staggered after it and ran behind the black rock, only to find a pitch-black hole in the wall, as thick as a bucket. There was no sign of the Silver Cat.
He looked left and right, but could not find the slightest trace it had left behind.
At that moment, a jumble of sounds rose behind him. It seemed that people were fighting their way over in this direction.
Yuan Ming's body swayed as he plunged headfirst into that black hole. Once his upper body had gone in, he tipped downward and fell headfirst inside.
After his figure dropped into it, a hazy yellow glow suddenly appeared over the black hole, concealing its entrance.
When the light faded, the hole had vanished as well.
No one knew how long passed before Yuan Ming gradually woke up, though his head still felt swollen and dizzy.
The searing pain in his shoulder made him part his lips, and several hissing groans escaped his throat.
Yuan Ming subconsciously reached down to feel beneath him, and his palm was
