Su Chen returned to find Bibi Dong and Xiao Bai trying to stop Bo Saixi from claiming the Sea God’s position after Poseidon’s death. Bo Saixi realized Xiao Bai had sided with Su Chen, and her grief and fury drove her power toward godhood.

• Su Chen left the barrier and found Bibi Dong and Xiao Bai attacking Bo Saixi, who was cultivating behind a barrier formed by her scepter.
• Bibi Dong recognized that Bo Saixi was trying to seize the Sea God’s position, while Xiao Bai told Su Chen that Poseidon was dead and Bo Saixi’s power was rising.
• Xiao Bai urged Su Chen to act quickly, and Bo Saixi abandoned her attempt to advance secretly when she saw him return.
• Bo Saixi accused Xiao Bai of betraying Poseidon and contributing to his death, but Xiao Bai insisted Su Chen had always been her master.
• Bo Saixi’s grief and hatred erupted, and her aura surged toward the level of a god.

After Poseidon's death, Su Chen defeated Bo Saixi and imprisoned her in a Water Prison, then called a meeting to plan what to do with the vacant Sea God's God Position. Gu Yue Na returned from the Ninja World with news of a strange mirage carrying power from their world.

• Bo Saixi blamed Xiao Bai for Poseidon's death and attacked her, but Su Chen diverted the dragon tail and pulled Bo Saixi toward him.
• Su Chen suppressed Bo Saixi's Soul Power, sealed her inside an explosive Water Prison, and ordered Xiao Bai to take her back out to sea.
• Su Chen summoned Bibi Dong, Di Tian, Bi Ji, the other Akatsuki members, and his subordinates to discuss claiming the Sea God's God Position, stabilizing the lower realm, and choosing a family member to ascend with him.
• A few days later, Gu Yue Na returned from the Ninja World and told Su Chen that an unknown mirage had appeared in its sky, carrying Soul Power from their world.

Su Chen learned that Douluo’s World Consciousness had started partially merging with the Ninja World ahead of schedule, then organized preparations for the coming destruction of the God Realm. After the meeting, he asked the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King why he wanted the Sea God God Position, leaving the question unanswered.

• Gu Yue Na told Su Chen that the mirage above the Ninja World had Soul Power, and the system explained that Douluo’s World Consciousness had initiated a partial fusion to prepare for the worlds’ merger.
• Su Chen wondered whether the World Consciousness would bless his future actions, then gathered everyone at the Akatsuki base near Spirit Hall to coordinate preparations for destroying the God Realm.
• Su Chen assigned Akatsuki members and soul beasts to protect regions of Douluo Continent from the disruption the God Realm’s destruction might cause.
• After dismissing the others, Su Chen kept Di Tian and the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King behind and asked the latter why he wanted the Sea God God Position.
• The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King said he wanted to ask about the position, and Su Chen asked why he desired it despite not following the Sea God’s path.
