• Madara watched his counterpart fight the Shinobi Alliance and learned that the reanimated army had been released from Kabuto's control.

After Tobirama Senju let Madara Uchiha stay in Konoha, he left Renye and Shimura Danzō beaten at the village gate. Renye took Danzō to Tsunade for treatment, then Tsunade went to Utatane Koharu to complain about Renye, leaving the two women whispering about him and Danzō.
