Chapter Summaries

Ingetsu brought Konan from Amegakure to the Capital Fortress and introduced her as a new jonin, while Nagato stayed behind and trusted Ingetsu to keep his promise. Konan began settling into the fortress and met its residents, growing uneasy as she realized she had entered Ingetsu’s private circle.

• Konan left Nagato with Ingetsu, and Nagato accepted the separation to protect her and prevent a clash with New Konoha.
• Nagato moved to an Amegakure tower with the Six Paths of Pain, and Ingetsu promised through their mental link that he would keep his word.
• Ingetsu introduced Konan as a jonin to the fortress leaders and assigned her to take over its affairs from Nanfeng.
• The Capital Fortress departed for Konoha, and Pain returned to Amegakure as the rain clouds gathered again.

Natsuhi Hoshi recovered from her illness after drinking Ingetsu’s Green Medicine, but lost her Mysterious Peacock Method and moved into the Main Fortress with Subaru. Ingetsu returned to New Konoha with Konan and the Otogakure migration force, where Orochimaru greeted them.

• Natsuhi Hoshi woke after her plant-like transformation ended, and Ingetsu explained that the Green Medicine had healed her while eliminating her Mysterious Peacock Method.
• Natsuhi Hoshi pledged herself to Ingetsu, and he told her to learn Uchiha Clan ninjutsu from Mikoto; Mikoto moved Subaru and Natsuhi Hoshi into the Main Fortress.

• Nonō welcomed Kabuto home, and he joined her in caring for the children as the group discussed the orphanage and its future.
• Ingetsu asked about Kurama Yakumo and offered to provide funds for the orphanage, while most of the Super Rookies fled the table early.
• After Ingetsu and Konan left, Kabuto urged Nonō to pursue Ingetsu and learned that she had a bedroom in his palace.
