Ch. 262Obito: I Will Create a World with Rin

Obito confronted Rin and Kakashi in the rain, but rejected the truth of their resurrection and attacked them. Ingetsu rescued Rin from Obito’s vines, and Obito opened Kamui to escape while facing his fear of Ingetsu.

  • Rin treated Kakashi’s wounds and told him she and Obito had been revived through Impure World Reincarnation.
  • Obito removed his mask, revealed himself to Rin and Kakashi, and declared he would create a world with Rin.
  • Obito charged them, pierced Kakashi through the chest, and then demanded that Rin admit she was not the real Rin.
  • Rin slapped Obito, prompting him to lose control and send wooden vines toward her.
  • Ingetsu, disguised as Aoi, rescued Rin and revealed himself; Obito recoiled and opened Kamui.

Ch. 263For Ingetsu, I Offer My Loyalty

Ingetsu carried Rin to safety after Obito attacked Kakashi, then explained how Madara had manipulated Obito into his crimes. The next morning, Ingetsu and his allies arrived at Takigakure in a Complete Body Susanoo, forcing its leader, Shōboku, to mobilize the village’s ninjas.

  • Ingetsu carried Rin to the hospital while medical ninjas rushed Kakashi there for emergency treatment, and Obito watched them before Tobi calmed him with the Hashirama Cells.
  • Rin asked why Obito had changed, and Ingetsu explained that Madara had manipulated events around Rin’s death to turn Obito into a pawn.
  • Rin asked how she could make amends for Obito’s crimes, and Ingetsu told her that no one could atone for another person’s actions before leaving her at the hospital.
  • Guy learned that Kakashi had been attacked while he was lured away, and the medical ninjas began treating Kakashi’s severe wounds.
  • The next morning, Mabui briefed Ingetsu and his allies on Takigakure, and Ingetsu led them straight to the village in a Complete Body Susanoo.
  • Shōboku saw the Susanoo above Takigakure and ordered his subordinate to gather every ninja, warning Fū to stay beside him.

Ch. 264Takigakure: Capture the Seven-Tails and Deliver It to the Leader

Ingetsu arrived at Takigakure to claim the Seven-Tails, while Shōboku organized the evacuation of the village’s civilians. Ingetsu offered Shōboku a chance to protect Takigakure by relocating toward the Leaf Village, then began a strange game with Fū to put her to sleep.

  • Fū climbed onto a windowsill and saw Ingetsu’s Complete Body Susanoo looming over Takigakure, while Shōboku recognized the danger and found Sharingan-like patterns in her eyes.
  • Shōboku ordered Takigakure’s ninja to evacuate civilians in small protection teams, then stayed behind with Fū as the evacuation neared completion.
  • Ingetsu, Mabui, and Konan walked through the evacuating village, and Mabui and Konan both suggested recruiting Shōboku.
  • Ingetsu approached Shōboku and Fū, told Shōboku he wanted the Seven-Tails, and offered Takigakure survival through relocation toward the Leaf Village before an approaching war.
  • Ingetsu invited Fū to compete at falling asleep first, then formed swirling black energy in his palm for them to stare at.

Ch. 265The Path to Becoming Stronger

Ingetsu extracted the Seven-Tails from Fū without harming her, and Shōboku agreed to continue their transaction while weighing Takigakure’s future. After reuniting with Nagato and the Six Paths of Pain, Ingetsu left Takigakure and said that capturing all the Tailed Beasts would not be enough to change the world’s future.

  • Ingetsu drew the Seven-Tails from Fū as she fell asleep, and Chōmei’s attempts to resist the extraction failed.
  • Shōboku caught Fū and confirmed that she was alive; Ingetsu told him she could return to an ordinary life, and Shōboku ordered Takigakure’s shinobi to stand down.
  • Shōboku asked about Ingetsu’s proposed transaction, and Ingetsu said it remained open for Shōboku to choose, preferably soon.
  • Deva Path Pain arrived and told Ingetsu that Amegakure’s people and shinobi were being escorted toward the Leaf Village; Nagato then joined them in his mechanical wheelchair.
  • Ingetsu left Takigakure with Nagato, Konan, Mabui, and the others, while Shōboku remained unsure whether to migrate his people to the Leaf Village.
  • Nagato asked whether gathering all the Tailed Beasts could change the Ninja World’s future, and Ingetsu said they would need another way.

Ch. 266A Major Shift in the Balance of Power

Ingetsu considered using the captured Tailed Beasts to approach the Six Paths realm and imprisoned Momoshiki’s Karma Body again. As Ingetsu returned toward the Leaf Village, Ōnoki persuaded the Land of Earth’s Daimyo to evacuate rather than resist, while villages across the Ninja World prepared to flee to the Land of Fire.

  • Ingetsu decided he would eventually place the nine Tailed Beasts in his Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, after returning to the Leaf Village and settling matters between the great ninja villages.
  • Ingetsu sent Momoshiki’s Karma Body back to Prison Space, where Tobirama and Minato subdued him again after he threatened them.
  • Dark Red Complete Body Susanoo carried Ingetsu toward the Leaf Village as it automatically shrank upon entering the Land of Fire.
  • The Land of Earth’s Daimyo and his delegation saw that Iwagakure had been reduced to a gigantic crater, and Ōnoki told them that Ingetsu had killed the Land of Lightning Daimyo and captured the Lightning Shadow.
  • Ōnoki gave the Land of Earth’s Daimyo three days to organize his people and join Iwagakure’s evacuation to the Land of Fire; the Daimyo agreed that evacuation was necessary.
  • Kumogakure, Sunagakure, and Amegakure organized or carried out evacuations to the Land of Fire as the Ninja World underwent a sweeping change.

Ch. 267Dark Red Complete Body Susanoo

Ingetsu carried captives and allies toward Konoha in Susanoo while telling Tsunade that the people of the conquered nations were being moved to the Land of Fire. The migrations from the Land of Lightning and Land of Earth began, leaving the nations’ people on the road to an uncertain new future.

  • Ingetsu used his mental bridge to contact Tsunade, who was bathing, and told her he had dealt with Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Sunagakure and was moving their people to the Land of Fire.
  • Ingetsu asked Tsunade to return in person and help manage affairs, and she agreed to come after finishing her work.
  • Yamato helped oversee the migration of more than ten thousand people from Hidden Cloud Village, where Konoha was using Shadow Clones and surrendered Cloud Ninja to assist.
  • An old Reanimated Uchiha man reassured Konoha’s workers that Ingetsu’s strength would ensure the people from the Land of Lightning could be integrated safely.
  • Ōnoki sent Kitsuchi and the first group of people from the Land of Earth toward the Land of Fire, promising to follow after arranging for them to meet Kurotsuchi.

Ch. 268The Era of the Five Great Shinobi Villages Has Ended!

Orochimaru led Konoha’s forces into Sunagakure after Chiyo and Ebizo opened the village’s defenses, then took control and ordered the Sand Ninja to surrender. As Orochimaru prepared to oversee the migration and visit the Wind Country’s Daimyo, Ingetsu arrived above the Leaf Village with the Dark Red Susanoo and Lightning Shadow and the others aboard.

  • Orochimaru led Konoha’s army to Sunagakure while Chiyo and Ebizo went ahead to convince the village’s defenders to stand down.
  • Chiyo and Ebizo ordered Yura and the sentries to withdraw from the entrance and gather the village’s ninjas at the Kazekage Building.
  • Konoha’s forces poured into Sunagakure, overwhelmed its scattered defenders, and surrounded the Kazekage Building.
  • Orochimaru threatened the Sand Ninja with death or Impure World Reincarnation, then took control of Sunagakure and sent Ebizo to organize the migration.
  • Orochimaru rejected Ebizo’s suggestion that he sit in the Kazekage’s chair and ordered him to accompany a visit to the Wind Country’s Daimyo.
  • Ingetsu brought the Dark Red Susanoo to the Leaf Village and flew toward the Capital Fortress as Lightning Shadow and the others looked down in shock.

Ch. 269Capital Fortress Security Captain, Nagato

Ingetsu returned to Konoha with the captured Raikage, Killer B, Nagato, and others, showing them the rebuilt village and its floating Capital Fortress. He assigned Nagato to lead fortress security while the Raikage brothers pleaded to join the security team rather than be sent to prison.

  • The Raikage and his companions marveled at Konoha’s restoration and the floating Capital Fortress as Ingetsu brought them inside.
  • Hanzo, Zabuza, and Kisame recognized the captured Nagato and the Six Paths of Pain, and Hanzo revealed that Nagato had killed him.
  • Mikoto welcomed Ingetsu and arranged for the visitors and children to be settled, while Ingetsu told her to house Nagato in the fortress.
  • Ingetsu appointed Nagato captain of the fortress security team alongside Hanzo, Zabuza, and Kisame.
  • The Raikage asked to join Nagato’s team after Ingetsu ordered him and Killer B to stay at Konoha Prison.

Ch. 270The Hope of a New Beginning

Ingetsu returned to the Capital Fortress, rested, and shared a charged moment with Kurenai. Meanwhile, Nagato brought the Lightning Shadow and Killer B to the city wall, where he confronted Hanzo and looked toward the Leaf Village with a renewed sense of hope.

  • Nagato agreed to let the Lightning Shadow and Killer B leave his escort, and Ingetsu headed alone to the Main Fortress.
  • Hotaru welcomed Ingetsu back, told him Hikari was resting after fighting the white monsters, and thanked him for allowing her to reunite with her grandfather and clan each month.
  • Ingetsu took a bath, read an illustrated copy of Icha Icha Paradise, and warmed cold water with Fire Attribute Chakra.
  • Kurenai entered the bathroom and asked Ingetsu whether he found her prettier or preferred the book.
  • Nagato brought the Lightning Shadow and Killer B to Hanzo, who recognized Nagato as the person who had killed him and acknowledged that Ingetsu had revived him.
  • Nagato told Hanzo that his death had repaid the old debt, then looked toward the Leaf Village and recalled the hope he had once seen in Amegakure.

Ch. 271The Internal and External Duties of the Cloud Ninjas

Nagato and Hanzo confronted their shared past while resolving to protect the hope they saw in the Leaf Village, as the Lightning Shadow questioned Ingetsu's relocation plan. Meanwhile, the Cloud women received assignments at the Capital Fortress, and in the Hidden Mist Village, Ao reacted with shock to an intelligence report.

  • Nagato spoke with Hanzo about how their past conflict might have been avoided, and Hanzo knelt to apologize for his actions.
  • Nagato urged those present to protect the hope of a new era, while the Lightning Shadow asked about Ingetsu's plan to relocate people to the Land of Fire; Nagato said they would have to wait and see.
  • Mikoto assigned Samui to oversee the gardens, Mabui to work with Konan, and Yugito Nii to help Nonō care for children at the orphanage.
  • Mikoto sent Natsuhi Hoshi to escort the three Cloud women to the Hokage Building to register their information.
  • Mei Terumi asked Ao to read the important parts of an intelligence report, but Ao nearly collapsed when he opened it, surprising Genji.

Ch. 272The Hidden Mist Village Surrenders

Mei Terumi accepted that the Hidden Mist Village would surrender to Uchiha Ingetsu after he defeated the Three Great Ninja Villages, while Ingetsu rested with Kurenai and considered the work ahead. During the forced migration from the Land of Earth, Tamao and Danzo encountered unrest among the migrants, and a larger disturbance erupted at the rear of the camp.

  • Ao told Genji and Mei Terumi that Ingetsu had attacked Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Sunagakure and that their populations were migrating to the Land of Fire.
  • Genji accepted Mei Terumi's decision to handle the village as she saw fit, and she began drafting the Hidden Mist Village's surrender document.
  • Ingetsu stayed beside the sleeping Kurenai and reflected on his coming responsibilities, including dealing with the Tailed Beasts.
  • During the Land of Earth migration, citizens beat an old man who supported joining the Land of Fire, until the Stone Shinobi intervened and the argument continued.
  • Tamao ordered Danzo to bring him to the disturbance, then decided to leave after watching the dispute; a much larger commotion broke out at the rear of the camp.

Ch. 273Migration Convoy, Danger

White Zetsu ambushed the migration convoy near the Land of Earth border, and Kitsuchi and the Konoha forces rallied to defend the civilians. Ingetsu remotely assessed the battlefield and discovered that the entire underground of the Land of Grass had become a White Zetsu nest.

  • White Zetsu erupted from the ground and overwhelmed the convoy’s rear, killing Stone Shinobi as the civilians fled in panic.
  • Kitsuchi led reinforcements into the rear battle and organized the Stone Shinobi into a defensive line using powerful Earth Release techniques.
  • Uchiha Nanfeng and Izumi calmed and regrouped much of the migration convoy while Tamao organized the Konoha forces and contacted Ingetsu.
  • Ingetsu located the convoy near the Land of Earth and Land of Grass border, confirmed that more than ten thousand White Zetsu were pursuing it, and began guiding his team remotely.
  • Ingetsu inspected the Land of Grass through a marked shinobi and discovered that its entire underground had become a White Zetsu nest.

Ch. 274The Ninja World's Changing Situation

Ingetsu discovered that the Land of Grass was overrun by White Zetsu and rescued Ryuzetsu, Ido, and three civilians from one of them. He warned them to flee and contacted Ōnoki with the new migration route, then headed toward the center of Hidden Grass Village to find out whether Obito had recovered.

  • Ingetsu sensed White Zetsu buried beneath the Land of Grass and discovered a White Zetsu threatening Ryuzetsu, Ido, and three civilians in a basement.
  • Ingetsu revealed his Mangekyo Sharingan, killed the White Zetsu, marked its body, and transferred his control from Ido into it.
  • Ingetsu advised Ryuzetsu to join survivors heading toward the Land of Fire and promised the area would be free of White Zetsu for twenty minutes.
  • Ingetsu entered Hidden Grass Village, marked the White Zetsu he saw, and sent the others fleeing in terror.
  • Ingetsu told Tamao that the group needed to detour through the Waterfall Country and informed Ōnoki about the invasion and migration route.
  • Ōnoki agreed to handle matters concerning the Land of Earth as Ingetsu continued toward the center of Hidden Grass Village.

Ch. 275The Ōtsutsuki Behind Black Zetsu

Ōnoki continued the evacuation of the Land of Earth while Ingetsu confronted Obito and Black Zetsu in Kusagakure, learning that their plans had unraveled and that an Ōtsutsuki might be supporting Black Zetsu. The chapter ended with Ingetsu back in the Land of Fire, suspecting an Ōtsutsuki had empowered the White Zetsu Army.

  • Ōnoki told Bunya that the remaining work required them to leave the Land of Earth, while he weighed how to respond to the changing situation.
  • Black Zetsu told Obito that Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki was presumed dead, Madara remained in his coffin, and their plans to capture the Tailed Beasts had failed.
  • Black Zetsu urged Obito to revive Madara through Impure World Reincarnation and said it would try to stop Ingetsu, but Ingetsu appeared in Kusagakure and revealed he had placed the White Zetsu under genjutsu.
  • Obito erupted in rage after Ingetsu taunted him about Rin, while Black Zetsu restrained him and ordered him to revive Madara; Ingetsu then released control of the White Zetsu body and challenged Black Zetsu to pass a message to its hidden ally.
  • Ryuzetsu and the team escaped Kusagakure after the White Zetsu disappeared, and Ingetsu returned his consciousness from Ido to his own body.
  • Ingetsu reasoned that an Ōtsutsuki had likely given the White Zetsu power that resisted his large-scale control.

Ch. 276The Tailed Beast Experiment

Ingetsu brought Nagato to the Capital Fortress’s Core Energy Chamber to experiment with the Tailed Beasts he had captured. As he opened the Tailed Beast Space, all nine sensed the exit and Ingetsu called them out.

  • Hotaru brought Ingetsu chilled drinks, then massaged his legs until they went numb and he carried her to a seat.
  • Ingetsu entered the Core Energy Chamber with Deva Path Pain and Nagato, where Kakuzu and Hidan were being drained to power the fortress through Zero-Tails.
  • Ingetsu told Nagato he wanted to experiment with the captured Tailed Beasts and asked him to summon the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path if the experiment failed.
  • Ingetsu opened the Tailed Beast Space, alarming Zero-Tails as it sensed nine powerful presences within him.
  • The nine Tailed Beasts saw the exit open, and Ingetsu called for them to come out.

Ch. 277See You Again, Demonic Statue of the Outer Path

Ingetsu summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path into the fortress’s Core Energy Chamber, bringing all nine Tailed Beasts out of their space to witness the experiment. The statue appeared in the chamber, and Nagato realized it was not the same Demonic Statue he had known.

  • Ingetsu distorted the Tailed Beast Space and forced all nine Tailed Beasts through its exit into the energy room.
  • The Tailed Beasts confronted Ingetsu, who reassured them that their Jinchuriki were safe except for the Six-Tails’ Jinchuriki; Pain confirmed that Ingetsu had treated them well.
  • Ingetsu performed the Summoning Technique, revealing that he intended to conduct an experiment with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
  • The statue roared from another dimension, and Ingetsu comforted it by promising it would have a home and battles again.
  • The summoning shook the Capital Fortress, while Ingetsu reassured its residents that he was conducting an experiment.
  • The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path emerged into the Core Energy Chamber, and Nagato recognized that it was not his statue.

Ch. 278Ten Tails Jinchuriki (Part One)

Ingetsu had the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path absorb all nine Tailed Beasts, despite their fear, to test whether they could fuse with it. The statue began struggling to contain them, and Nagato offered to intervene, but Ingetsu insisted he would handle it.

  • The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path greeted Ingetsu with unusual affection, and he sensed that it called him Master.
  • The Nine-Tails tried to flee, but the statue seized it and absorbed it in blue light.
  • Ingetsu assured the remaining Tailed Beasts that they could separate after fusion, then allowed the statue to absorb the other eight.
  • The statue closed its nine eye sockets and began struggling as it tried to digest the Tailed Beasts, shaking the floor and showing signs of pain.
  • Nagato offered to intervene if the statue went berserk, but Ingetsu refused his help.

Ch. 279Ten Tails Jinchuriki (Part 2)

Ingetsu entered the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path’s Spiritual World and found the Nine Tailed Beasts there, but their presence triggered catastrophic elemental disasters. Trapped alongside them, he led their escape as Three-Tails Isobu was swallowed by lava.

  • Ingetsu connected his mental power to the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and entered its Spiritual World, where he found One-Tail to Nine-Tails gathered.
  • Ingetsu realized the Tailed Beasts’ arrival had destabilized the space, and sandstorms, tsunamis, fissures, magma, and purple lightning began attacking them.
  • The Tailed Beasts became materialized and could not escape upward, so Ingetsu urged them to flee from the thunderclouds while he searched for a way out.
  • Nine-Tails led the group at first, but Seven-Tails Chomei flew ahead while Three-Tails Isobu struggled behind on land.
  • Lightning struck Isobu, and a surge of lava swallowed it as the other Tailed Beasts continued fleeing with Ingetsu.

Ch. 280Ten Tails Jinchuriki (Part 2)

Yinyue broke the spiritual shackles in the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and rescued the Tailed Beasts from the collapsing Spiritual World. He realized Momoshiki’s Otsutsuki Source Energy could repair the statue, and the chapter ended as Momoshiki began restoring it.

  • Yinyue used the Demonic Statue’s remaining spiritual power to break his shackles, formed a Dark Red Complete Body Susanoo, and rescued Isobu from the magma.
  • Yinyue protected the Tailed Beasts as they fled, then realized the Demonic Statue could not absorb their power because its body was too depleted.
  • Yinyue brought Momoshiki’s Karma Body from the Prison Space into the collapsing Spiritual World and ordered him to help restore the statue.
  • Momoshiki channeled Otsutsuki Source Chakra through the Susanoo’s greatsword into the ground, causing the surrounding lava to vanish and cracks to repair.

Ch. 281Hunting the Otsutsuki

Ingetsu persuaded the Tailed Beasts to feed their Source Energy to the Demonic Statue, allowing it to recover and promising to replenish them by hunting Ōtsutsuki. As the Statue began reviving, Hikari arrived in the energy room outside and studied the unfamiliar golem.

  • Momoshiki's Karma Body infused the collapsing Spiritual World with Ōtsutsuki Source Energy, but warned Ingetsu he could last only five more minutes.
  • Ingetsu ordered Nine-Tails and the other Tailed Beasts to feed their Source Energy to the ground, and the Demonic Statue absorbed it without rejecting them.
  • The Tailed Beasts shrank as they supplied energy, while Ingetsu promised to preserve their consciousness and replenish them by hunting Ōtsutsuki.
  • Ingetsu explained that Momoshiki's energy had repaired the Statue's ability to absorb the Tailed Beasts' power, and the beasts continued feeding it.
  • Outside the Statue, Nagato guarded Ingetsu until Hikari entered the energy room and examined the unfamiliar golem.
