  • Tony destroyed more than half of the Hydra robots with his energy cannon, then flew toward the building as Steve and Logan held off the remaining attackers.
  • George watched from above, deciding to wait unless the Helicarriers launched or the others faced mortal danger.
  • Quake used her Shockwave ability to knock Tony out of the air, but Jarvis activated the suit’s shielding system.
  • Gordon appeared behind Tony and prepared to teleport him away, hoping to delay him until the Helicarriers took off.

Ch. 243The Incoming Nuclear Missile (Third Update)

Tony, Steve, and Logan watched Daisy’s powers help Hydra launch the Helicarriers after General Ross’s forces attacked. As George prepared to stop the carriers, Tony warned that the World Security Council had sent a nuclear missile toward them.

  • Tony’s suit automatically shocked Gordon unconscious, and Daisy blasted Tony back when she saw Gordon fall.
  • General Ross arrived with military forces and ordered an attack on the Triskelion Building, while Pierce threatened to kill hostages to buy time.
  • Daisy shook the ground, causing Ross’s troops to fall into fissures as the three Helicarriers rose from the lake and destroyed the remaining military aircraft and forces.
  • Steve, Tony, and Logan prepared to pursue the Helicarriers, but George arrived and offered to handle them himself.
  • Tony warned George, Steve, and Logan that the World Security Council had launched a nuclear missile toward the area.

Ch. 244A Mere Nuclear Bomb

  • George stopped the nuclear weapon in midair and transformed it into a piece of wood.

Ch. 245Making Hydra Despair (Second Update)

George stopped a nuclear bomb and destroyed Hydra’s three Helicarriers, saving Washington from their attack. As Steve, Tony, and Logan entered the Triskelion to rescue the hostages, George reached Pierce and killed him.

  • Viewers and the Security Council watched in shock as George saved Washington, while Tony and Logan reacted to his power.
  • Steve saw the awakened Eyeless Man teleport away with several Espers and led Tony and Logan into the Triskelion to rescue Bucky and the other hostages.

  • George Confunded the guards and searched the archives, where he learned about the Roman Orthodox Church, the Church of England, the Russian Orthodox Church, and other magical groups.
  • George followed Kihara Suru to the laboratory, controlled him with the Imperius Curse, and instructed him to alter the experiment’s results and avoid drawing George’s blood.
  • Kihara Suru’s report predicted that George would reach Level 5 in two months, so George ordered him to change the estimate to two years and used clone blood as a substitute.
  • George learned from Kihara Suru’s memories that Aleister Crowley secretly led Academy City and decided to hide his true abilities and feed him false information.
  • George erased and replaced Kihara Suru’s memories, released him from the Imperius Curse, and left Hound Unit headquarters.

Ch. 248One Hundred and Three Thousand Magic Books (Second Update)

George discovered a magician searching for Index and learned that she carried 103,000 Magic Books in her mind. As the underground street fell into darkness, Shirai Kuroko and Misaka Mikoto arrived, and Mikoto recognized Kamijo Touma.

  • George entered a subterranean food court, where a Kazekage Committee Member warned everyone that terrorists had infiltrated the underground street.
  • While evacuating, George spotted a magical eye searching the crowd and followed it invisibly.
  • The eye found Index, Kamijo Touma, and Kazakiri, and Index explained that a magician had replaced a temple guardian with an Angel of the United Kingdom.
  • The magician darkened the underground street, while Touma and Index argued over who should confront her; George became eager to learn the magic recorded in Index's mind.
  • Shirai Kuroko and Misaka Mikoto arrived, and Mikoto recognized Touma, who did not seem to remember her.

Ch. 249Puritan Mage Attack (First Update)

Kamijo Touma and Misaka Mikoto confronted Shirley Cromwell, a Church of England mage attacking Academy City, while George followed her invisibly to study her magic. Shirley attacked Index and Kazari Uiharu, whose shattered body revealed that she was an aggregate of the students’ AIM Diffusion Fields rather than a human.

  • Shirai Kuroko teleported two trapped girls to safety, while Kamijo Touma and Misaka Mikoto went to support the security officers.
  • George followed Kamijo Touma and Misaka Mikoto to find Shirley Cromwell standing unharmed beside a Stone Giant after defeating the security officers.

Ch. 251Brother Mikoto? (Third Update)

George learned Shirley Cromwell’s past and why she had attacked Academy City, then considered how he might study magic without harming Index. After thanking him, Index was confused when George insisted she call him “Brother Mikoto,” and Shirai Kuroko arrived and admired his male disguise.

  • George learned from Shirley’s memories that Alice Woria had died after the Knight Faction attacked, leading Shirley to seek peace by provoking a separation between magic and science.
  • George reasoned that his magic power could coexist with Esper abilities, but recognized that Index’s Automated Scripture made it impossible to forcibly read her One Hundred and Three Thousand Magic Books safely.
  • George decided to postpone pursuing the Magic Books, raise his Esper abilities to Level Five, and later test whether he could use the Kabbalah Art with his own magic power.
  • Index and Kazari Uiharu thanked George for saving them, and he corrected Index when she called him Sister Mikoto, asking her to call him Brother Mikoto instead.

George assessed his human clone’s memories and concluded that the story was set in the First Age, when Morgoth was trapped in the Iron Mountains and Beleriand was at peace. After discovering that this world’s humans were unusually strong, he was attacked by six starving wolves and killed one with a lightning-charged spear.

  • George reviewed the history of the Silmarils, the Noldor’s exile, and the wars against Morgoth, then judged that his clone lived in the First Age.

Ch. 257A Golden Dragon Is Basically a Dragon Crystal (Second Update)

George considered turning Morgoth’s enormous golden dragon into a Dragon Crystal as Bregolas led eight hundred human warriors to reinforce the High Elves. George’s Light Magic helped them break through the orc ranks, and Glaurung halted the assault to regroup, angered by the human intervention.

  • George was amazed by the golden dragon’s size and wondered whether making it into a Dragon Crystal could let him become a Fire Dragon Slayer Mage.
  • Bregolas led eight hundred human warriors in a surprise charge through the orc army toward the main elven force.
  • George cast Light Rain, whose Holy Light Element Light Arrows burned the orcs and opened a path for Bregolas and his warriors.
