In midair, the man in white, the gray-robed elder, the black-robed elder, and the glamorous woman faced one another. They exchanged glances, seemingly surprised to see each other here.
"I never expected you all to come as well..." The man in white was the first to voice his surprise. Especially when his gaze fell on the black-robed elder, the astonishment in his eyes became even more obvious.
"Them coming is one thing, but I never expected you to come too, Mula. Haven't you not left that Magic Crystal shop of yours at Sparlier World Academy for ten years?..."
At those words, the black-robed elder snorted heavily and shouted in an exceptionally foul mood. "What? You have a problem with me coming here, Magnubi?!"
If Wu Yan had truly been here, then upon seeing this ill-tempered black-robed elder, whom Magnubi had called Mula, his jaw would surely have dropped.
Because this black-robed elder was none other than the awful old shopkeeper with terrible service whom Wu Yan had encountered in a Trading Firm selling Magic Crystals when he had first entered Sparlier World Academy!
Yet the other three showed no surprise at Mula's terrible attitude. Clearly, this was not the first time they had seen her act this way.
"I'm merely a little surprised..." Magnubi glanced at Mula. "Didn't you once say that you would never leave Sparlier World Academy until you reached the peak of Demigod Rank?..."
Mula curled her lips disdainfully and let out a mocking snort. "Didn't you say that you would never leave the Imperial Treasury of your Baruba Empire until you trained that Beast Battle Skill containing lightning abilities to the point where it could split apart Sparlier World Academy, myself included?!"
