When Tobiichi Origami opened her eyes, she found herself standing alone on a street bathed in the setting sun...
"This place..."
After glancing around, Origami frowned tightly, her eyes filled with confusion.
It was not that Origami did not recognize the street she was standing on. Though the street before her felt extremely unfamiliar, Origami recognized it at a glance.
This was the road one had to take to reach her childhood home!
Yet that was precisely why Origami felt so confused.
After all, her childhood home had already been reduced to ashes in the fire five years ago!
Including the street before her...
Her cool eyes continuously swept over her surroundings. Origami stared fixedly at the scene on the street. There were passing pedestrians, students returning from school, and small animals happily scampering about, creating a peaceful scene.
Yet even though Origami stood right in the middle of the street, the people and animals passing by completely ignored her, walking past as though they could not see her. Some people even passed right through her body!
It was as though Origami herself had become completely transparent!
Expressionlessly watching the bizarre phenomenon happening to her, Origami immediately reached a conclusion.
"A dream...?"
At that moment, a familiar figure entered Origami's sight.
She was a cute little girl of around eleven or twelve, with short white hair and azure eyes.
Amid the crowded street, she looked exceptionally eye-catching. It was not hard to imagine that she would grow into a remarkable beauty...
The moment she saw the little girl, Origami could no longer take her eyes off her.
That adorable little girl before her was none other than Origami herself as a child!
