Across the vast room, round pillars stood in neat rows along the surrounding walls, stretching upward to connect with the lofty ceiling.
Within the lounge, sofas, tables and chairs, and a massive fireplace each occupied a tiny corner relative to the room's size. Ahead stood a towering set of doors, beyond which lay the dining hall reserved exclusively for the Knight King's family.
Standing in the lounge, Wu Yan was having the collar of his suit-like formal wear adjusted by Cosette. Ash was also tugging at his own collar, clearly unaccustomed to the outfit. Only Eco remained full of energy, staring fixedly at the dining hall doors with drool running from the corner of her mouth.
Clearly, this foodie dragon was already growing restless over the food at the banquet.
