When sunlight once again blessed the entire world, scattering the light of life, Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart became lively once more.
In a corner of the academy stood a student dormitory.
It was a dormitory as large as a hotel, with a courtyard in front of it.
Flowerbeds and old trees swayed gently in the breeze. A walkway passed through them, its aged stone bricks seemingly telling of the years they had endured as they stretched forward toward the entrance of the student dormitory.
Judging from the surroundings alone, this student dormitory might have been somewhat old, but both its size and design rivaled some of the more famous hotels outside.
Living here should have been fairly pleasant.
Yet this fairly decent dormitory was the smallest, oldest, and least popular dormitory in all of Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart.
Tortoise Dorm!
This was the dormitory assigned only to the group of students ranked at the bottom of Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart!
In other words, the students living in this dormitory were either problem children or poor students whose talent lagged behind others and who had fallen behind on the path of becoming Automaton Masters. It was a dormitory exclusively for the academy's worst students!
Since Tortoise Dorm housed poor students, it received the worst treatment from the academy as well.
Therefore, it only looked a little old from the outside. It was still a dormitory within the greatest institution in the world of magic, so it could not possibly have been too shabby.
Each dorm room was as large as an ordinary family's living room. Inside were desks, wardrobes, and two double beds placed against the walls, offering treatment far better than that of an average hotel.
