On the second floor of the Central Auditorium, there was a fairly spacious area.
This area consisted of three rooms: the office of the Disciplinary Committee chairman, the Disciplinary Committee members' waiting room, and the Disciplinary Committee conference room.
In other words, the headquarters of the Disciplinary Committee was located on the second floor of the Central Auditorium.
The very fact that the Disciplinary Committee's headquarters had been established here showed just how important a position the committee held within the academy.
Although it was an organization voluntarily joined by students, with no academy higher-ups participating in its affairs as overseers, Disciplinary Committee members were still vital to maintaining academy discipline. Even without anyone besides students involved, the academy would not treat them lightly.
Setting aside part of the second floor of the Central Auditorium as the Disciplinary Committee's headquarters also demonstrated the academy's recognition and regard for the committee.
Under such circumstances, the Disciplinary Committee could not be said to hold absolute sway over the academy, but it did indeed possess certain privileges granted by the academy.
For example, incidents such as the Magic Eater (Cannibal Candy) causing Automaton Master students to disappear and Automatons to be destroyed were handled by the Disciplinary Committee rather than the security force.
Of course, if it were confirmed that the Magic Eater (Cannibal Candy) had even murdered the missing Automaton Masters, then the security force would have no choice but to intervene.
