At the far end of The Library were several doors hidden among the bookshelves and piles of books, each only wide enough for one person to pass through.
Behind those doors were living quarters and storage rooms for miscellaneous items. Of the rooms fit for habitation, there were only two.
Needless to say, one of those rooms belonged to Patchouli, while the other belonged to Koakuma.
However, Koakuma was not in her room at the moment. Instead, she was sorting through the disorderly books in a pile not far from the rooms, categorizing them and returning them to the bookshelf before her.
Yet from the resentful look in Koakuma's eyes as she repeatedly glanced toward one of the two rooms meant for living, it was clear that her mind was not on the books at all.
The room Koakuma kept looking at was not her own, but Patchouli's!
Just moments ago, Patchouli had entered that room.
And she had not gone in alone.
