Koishi Komeiji's older sister had built a mansion atop the ruins of Blazing Hell. She lived there and managed those vengeful spirits.
That mansion was called—Chireiden!
And Koishi Komeiji's older sister was called—Satori Komeiji!
Satori Komeiji and Koishi Komeiji were youkai of a race known as "satori"!
It was a race with the ability to read minds, to see through people's hearts and know the thoughts of any living being.
Originally, Koishi Komeiji possessed the same mind-reading ability as her sister, Satori Komeiji. She was a youkai who could see through people's hearts, but she realized that this ability caused others to hate and fear her. So, she willingly closed her mind-reading third eye and sealed off her heart.
That was why the third eye hanging before Koishi Komeiji's left breast was tightly shut.
Because of this, Koishi Komeiji would no longer be hated or feared by others. However, losing her mind-reading ability and sealing off her heart had also left her mind unable to mature for a long time.
In other words, she was a girl very similar to Flandre in every way!
