Gensokyo, Hakurei Shrine...
Early that morning, people continuously flew in from afar and landed before the newly rebuilt Hakurei Shrine.
Though they were called people, among all those who had come to Hakurei Shrine, there were only a handful of actual humans. The rest were youkai, fairies, spirits, and all manner of races that existed only in Gensokyo.
There was only one reason so many youkai, fairies, spirits, and other beings had gradually filled the open space before Hakurei Shrine.
Today, a grand banquet was being held here at Hakurei Shrine.
It was precisely because the banquet was being held at Hakurei Shrine that so many youkai, fairies, spirits, and other beings had come.
After all, if one were to ask which place in Gensokyo was the most famous, it would undoubtedly be Hakurei Shrine.
Although Hakurei Shrine was not the only shrine in Gensokyo, its importance to Gensokyo surpassed even that of the various races living here.
For no other reason than this: without Hakurei Shrine, Gensokyo itself would not exist.
