Amid an astonishing blast, a surging shockwave swept out like a roaring tidal wave, accompanied by a rumbling crushing sound as it flooded wildly in every direction.
Under such a terrifying collision, the space throughout the forest trembled faintly. Some of the nearer trees were even cracked apart by the shockwave, fissures spreading across their trunks with scalp-numbing cracking sounds.
The shockwave continued to reverberate, spreading endlessly at an incredibly rapid pace. Within only a few breaths, it had swallowed the Magical Beasts that had just surrounded them as though they were food.
"Pfft—!"
In the next instant, many of the affected Magical Beasts were sent flying as if they had been struck heavily, trailing blood behind them before crashing brutally into the ground. Some snapped trees apart, while others skidded across the ground as they flew backward, gouging horrifying streaks of blood into the earth.
"Roar—!"
"Awoo—!"
"Wail—!"
The shockwave swept through nearly the entire forest, causing the Magical Beasts fortunate enough to avoid it to let out terrified roars.
For no other reason than that, amid that collision, every Magical Beast had felt a fear spreading from the depths of its soul.

Merely being caught in the aftermath had allowed the Magical Beasts to smell a trace of death!
