They formed deep valleys, like two gigantic fingers pressed together, their peaks soaring into the clouds.
Within the gap between those finger-like mountains sat an incomparably vast city, like a bridge connecting the mountain ranges. It was an awe-inspiring sight.
This city, nestled between two enormous mountain ranges, was the Baruba Empire's most important Royal City!
Unlike the Ai Lu Empire's Royal City, which resembled a city with a glittering palace at its center, the Baruba Empire's Royal City was less a city than a fortress.
Not only was its area staggeringly vast, but its walls were entirely forged from pitch-black deep-earth rock. Like the barbed rock walls of an abyss, they possessed terrifying defensive power. If anything crashed into the spikes lining those walls, it would surely be torn to pieces.
Just looking at those hedgehog-like walls was enough to make one's skin crawl, let alone the densely packed defenders currently stationed atop them.
A closer look revealed that the densely packed warriors on the walls held bow-shaped armaments, while rows of mages behind them gripped staffs tightly, ready to act at any moment. This deployment, specifically meant to counter long-range attacks, was quite similar to that of the Ai Lu Empire's Royal City.
Combined with the terrifying walls and the faintly visible barrier rippling like water, if either the Ai Lu Empire or the Phil Empire were attacking the Baruba Empire's Royal City now, they would likely have to pay a considerable price to force their way through.
Unfortunately, this time, the one attacking this fortress-like stronghold was not an empire, but a true Magical Beast Legion!
