It had been roughly a year since the great war between humans and magical beasts in Sparlier World...
The great battle that had unfolded in Giant Beast Forest, along with the earth-shattering clash between two supreme experts, had gouged a huge chunk out of one corner of the forest. Yet over the course of that year, the missing portion had already recovered.
Of course, it could not have returned to normal through natural growth alone. Giant Beast Forest had recovered because of the magical beasts living within it. They had nurtured that scarred land back to life, restoring the forest's former vitality.
