Sunlight poured down upon the endless sea as though trying to evaporate it, and the rising heat distorted the air, making the surrounding temperature terrifyingly high.
From time to time, vessels large and small came and went across the scorching sea, wandering back and forth. Buffeted by hot winds and answered by their whistles, they sailed unwaveringly toward their destinations. Some large fishing boats also drifted aimlessly here, casting heavy nets to catch fish.
