Ayahama Academy was a school responsible for educating both middle school and high school students, and one of the few elite academies on the artificial island of Itogami City.
Compared to Itogami City, known as the "Demon District," Ayahama Academy was a relatively normal school. There were no Beastmen, no vampires, nor any other demons here. Those attending the academy were, for the most part, ordinary humans.
The reason for using such an ambiguous term as "for the most part" was that registered demons did not appear or enroll here, while some unknown Unregistered Demons could conceal their identities and continue operating here. There were not many examples, but neither were there none...
The second reason concerned the term "ordinary humans" itself...
After all, humans such as magicians who possessed magic or Over-Adapters with supernatural abilities looked no different from ordinary people on the surface... Inside one of the faculty office buildings in Ayahama Academy's high school division, there was an office.
It was located on the top floor of the office building, which commanded an exceptionally broad view. Its position was even higher than Ayahama Academy's principal's office, and its interior was exceedingly luxurious. The floor was covered in thick carpets embroidered with dazzling patterns, lavish tapestries hung on the walls by the door, and every piece of furniture looked like a priceless antique from a distant age.
Since it occupied more than half the entire top floor, anyone entering it would probably mistake it for the chambers of some aristocrat or monarch rather than a teacher's office...
This luxurious office was Nangong Nayue's office!
Nangong Nayue was an English teacher in Ayahama Academy's high school division. She also served as an instructor for Itogami City's Special District Garrison and was an active professional Demon Slayer in Itogami City!
