Here, aside from demons, there were also researchers from many related corporations—pharmaceuticals, precision machinery, high-tech industries, and other major enterprises—as well as famous research institutions. They all existed on this artificial island, with the goal of applying what they learned from demons to themselves and profiting from it.
Thus, buildings resembling research facilities were not uncommon on Itogami Island. Some research facilities had even gathered together in the same area, forming districts dedicated specifically to research.
Among those research districts was an ancient-looking street, one that seemed to have existed ever since Itogami Island had been built. On that street stood a company...
Its outer walls were entirely covered in glass, giving it an exceptionally cold appearance. Compared to the seemingly ancient buildings around it, it was undoubtedly an eyesore. Yet it was also an undeniably imposing building, over several dozen meters tall. Fortunately, sunlight could not reach this place. Otherwise, with such a massive glass-covered structure reflecting the light, people probably would not even dare look up at it.
The company's name was Magician's Craftworks!
Judging by its name, the company seemed to be connected to magic or Demon Slayers.
But in truth, it was merely a company specializing in the manufacture of industrial robotic dolls. Cleaning robots, for example, were among the products it made.
However, the company was now little more than a shell of its former self. Even its office building had practically been abandoned.
