Wang Ye's gaze fell on the far end of the room.
A neat row of crates!
There weren't many, though—only seven.
They were identical to the crates from the Dragon King Mountain transaction. Wang Ye placed his hand on the lock and gave it a light squeeze.
Crack. The lock split apart.
Inside were some old combat suits.
They were mostly heavy armor, with a few medium suits mixed in. With Devil-Humans' physical capabilities, they could handle any heavy combat suit, including super-heavy types.
Crack, crack, crack, crack, crack, crack.
Wang Ye was quite skilled at picking locks and quickly opened all seven crates.
Without exception, they were filled with combat suits and weapons.

"There's one more." Wang Ye spotted a distinctive black briefcase in the gap between the seventh crate and the wall.
He picked it up and weighed it in his hand. It clinked heavily.
Heh.
This trip hadn't been for nothing.
Wang Ye easily cracked the combination lock and opened the black briefcase. It was packed full of gold bars, at least a hundred of them.
At current gold prices, the case was worth roughly five to ten million.
"I hit the jackpot." Wang Ye informed Tong Wu.
He then carefully searched the area, making sure there was nothing else hidden away.
Fifteen minutes later.
Tong Wu arrived briskly in his Ox-Horn Battle Armor. Seeing the Devil-Human corpses scattered across the floor, he remained silent.
He wasn't surprised that Wang Ye had found the Devil-Humans' hideout.
But there were another seven equipment crates!
