No one had time to ask where she had come from. They happily gathered around her instead. At first, they cautiously poked her a few times with their fingers, but before long, they boldly took every chance to stroke even her tail.

Fortunately, Rising Wind, this mare, was quite understanding. She stood still and let these strangers pet her to their hearts' content.

Then she took each of them for a stroll.

Had it been any other horse being handled like this by strangers—especially around the forbidden area of its hindquarters—it would have kicked them straight into their next life long ago.

In the days that followed, Rising Wind got along harmoniously with everyone, though she gave Yumi, the Warship Core, quite a scare for a while.

After all, horses loved eating the tender leaves of all kinds of plants. If they had not stopped her in time, she would have nearly chewed Yumi's entire tree crown bare.

Perhaps because Master Asia's Master Gundam had always been repaired and maintained by Rising Wind, this extraordinarily intelligent mare was closest to Erica. The woman and horse had practically become inseparable best friends.

That was right. After Thor tried taking her to Morgenroete's maintenance factory once, Rising Wind began actively following Erica there to inspect and repair Mobile Suits.

The second time she went, maintenance and servicing being her life's mission, she gave Thor a look that said, "You know what I mean," and kept neighing, "Hee hee..."

Using his database to translate, Thor understood what she meant as well: "Martial nephew, hurry up and get me a translation system.
