Thor finally encountered the first Zeon Army mobile suit on his journey.

It was the one featured in [Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: The Hidden Records of the One Year War],

Produced by the Principality of Zeon's renowned military contractor—and second-largest weapons developer after [Zeonic Company]—[Zimad Company]: the self-destruct marvel and spacefaring iron coffin, [EMS-10 Zudah].

From the looks of it, three Zudahs were conducting test flights in space. Perhaps he had arrived just in time for Unit 3's debut self-destruction.

Having long since infiltrated the Principality of Zeon's network and arranged an identity for himself, Thor immediately opened communications with the three Zudahs.

"This is Lieutenant Colonel Thor Kni of the Zeon Army's Special Independent Unit. Would it be possible for you to take me to the nearest unit for ammunition resupply?

"Received, received. This is Major John Rook Duval of the Zeon Army's 603rd Technical Evaluation Unit."

The moment John heard Thor's transmission, he responded. After carefully checking the identification signal, he immediately said with excitement,

"Y-you... Ah, are you Lord Purple Reaper? I've long heard of your exploits. It is truly an honor to meet you!"

"Ah, if there isn't another person piloting a Purple Big Demon and conducting guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines, then this so-called Purple Reaper should be me. I'm honored to meet you as well."

After John's enthusiastic flattery, Thor smoothly joined their test flight and flew with them toward their [Yutonheim-class] transport ship.

To show Thor the speed advantage of the new [Zudah], John and the other two pilots opened their Saturn Engines and Wide Area Thrusters to full power, accelerating even faster.
