The Endless Abyss was fraught with danger. Demonic beasts and Abyssal Demons slaughtered one another everywhere one looked. In the Endless Abyss, slaughter was the theme.

However, within the Endless Abyss, Abyss Lords above the rank of Abyssal Demon Baron would construct cities and develop them into their own forces. Within their respective cities, those Abyss Lords were like mortal emperors, controlling the fates of every living being in the entire city.

Besides the cities of Abyss Lords, there were also Abyssal Demon gathering places of all sizes scattered across the vast lands of the Endless Abyss.

Those Abyssal Demon gathering places were territories established by Advanced Abyssal Demons after subduing Low-Level Abyss Demons. The gathering places of those Advanced Abyssal Demons likewise slaughtered one another without end, continuously evolving through that frenzied slaughter until they ultimately evolved into Great Demons.

The most outstanding among those newly born Great Demons would establish cities of their own and continue slaughtering, or answer the summons of Different Planes, exhausting every possible method to gain the Abyss's favor, transform into Abyssal Demon Barons, and leap into the ranks of Abyss Lords. This was the path of advancement for Abyssal Demons.

It was relatively simple for Low-Level Abyss Demons to evolve into Low-Level Abyssal Demons. So long as they kept slaughtering and devouring other demonic beasts, they could evolve all the way into Low-Level Abyssal Demons. But for Low-Level Abyssal Demons to evolve into Great Demons was exceedingly difficult. A hundred thousand Low-Level Abyssal Demons might not produce even a single Great Demon.

Only by slaughtering on the Blood War Battlefield between the Endless Abyss Plane and the Hell Plane could those Low-Level Abyssal Demons possibly advance rapidly into Great Demons, or even Abyss Lords.
