The old man wore a green robe, his long hair hanging loosely over his shoulders, giving him an air of carefree elegance. His features were far from ordinary; even at his age, traces of handsomeness could still be seen. He must have been quite good-looking in his youth. Perhaps because he cultivated wind-attributed Dou Qi, his aura was somewhat elusive and unpredictable, giving off an unfathomable, uncanny feeling.
"Old fellow, is it really you?"
The green-robed old man who appeared in the sky became extremely excited the moment he saw Elder Yao. He was Elder Yao's old friend, Venerable Wind, a Four-star Dou Zun. When Elder Yao had opened the Star Realm earlier, he had happened to be nearby and sensed it, so he immediately rushed back.
"If it isn't me, then who else could it be?" Elder Yao rolled his eyes.
"Haha, I knew an old fellow like you wouldn't die so easily. I've searched so hard for you all these years!" Venerable Wind was about to head over to Elder Yao when he suddenly frowned.
"Old fellow, where is your body? And why is your soul so weak?" Venerable Wind asked in astonishment.
"Sigh! It's a long story. Back then, I took Han Feng as my successor, but that beast, in order to obtain the cultivation method I found in an ancient ruin, colluded with people from the Soul Hall and harmed me. Fortunately... I managed to survive." Elder Yao sighed and recounted some of the events from that year.
Upon hearing Elder Yao's words, Venerable Wind and Mu Qingluan both had anger written all over their faces.
"That scoundrel Han Feng actually committed such a treacherous act of betraying his master and forsaking his ancestors. Old fellow, I'll definitely avenge you!" Venerable Wind said through gritted teeth.
