Though puzzled, Lin Xuan naturally did not hesitate. He waved his right hand, and the Jade Box was wrapped in a layer of hazy azure light, slowly flying toward Yue'er.
"Thank you, Young Master."
The little girl's face was full of joy. She took the Jade Box and gently held it in her delicate palm.
She lowered her fine head and carefully looked at the item inside the box.
She even extended a jade-like finger, dipped it in a little, and brought it to the tip of her nose. Then her expression grew even more delighted. "As expected..."
"How is it? What treasure is this, exactly?" Lin Xuan could no longer restrain his curiosity and spoke.
"Nine Heavens Residual Snow." Yue'er's tender voice entered his ears.
"Nine Heavens Residual Snow?"
Lin Xuan's expression grew even more bewildered. Was this some sort of cold-attribute material? Why had he never heard of it?
"Hehe, Young Master, you've misunderstood. This isn't a treasure used by cultivators, but something for girls to use as makeup," Yue'er said with a light laugh.
Lin Xuan's face filled with confusion, and he almost suspected his own ears.
"Young Master, you didn't hear wrong. Nine Heavens Residual Snow is a type of rouge and face powder. However, even in the Spirit World there isn't much of it, and to girls it's something more precious than life. Using it for maintenance has almost miraculous effects of restoring youth." Yue'er's face shone as she spoke. Men naturally were not interested in such classics, so it was no wonder Lin Xuan had never read them.
"Oh."
Lin Xuan nodded and indeed paid it no more attention. No matter how rare rouge and face powder were, they held no temptation for him. He turned his head and resumed searching for other treasures.
