"Where is Qinxin now? I want to go see how she is first, then decide what to do."
"It is only human nature for Junior Brother to be concerned about your wife. Right now, Sister Qinxin's cultivation has reached a crucial moment. It is naturally good for Junior Brother to go take a look; perhaps you may even be of some help to her."
The Silver-Eyed Maiden naturally would not stop him. "I will send a disciple to guide you at once."
"That will not be necessary. Yu'er must know the place where Qinxin cultivates. If she takes me there, everything will go smoothly."
Lin Xuan spoke lightly.
Although other disciples could also carry out this task, how could they compare to his own personal disciple?
Yu'er was clever and quick-witted; having her accompany him would make him feel more at ease.
"Yu'er, then. Very well. Junior Brother, please go without worry. Junior Brother Long and I will take care of the affairs of the sect."
And so Lin Xuan took his leave. Gongsun Yu'er had already received the news and was standing respectfully with lowered head at the doorway.
Lin Xuan met up with her, released a leaf-shaped flying boat from his sleeve, and the two rode it together, soon disappearing into the swirling clouds and mist.
"So, Qinxin is cultivating in Earth Vein Valley?"
"Yes, Master."
A streak of radiance tore across the horizon. Lin Xuan stood at the prow of the boat, while Gongsun Yu'er stood behind him.
At this moment, Lin Xuan was wholly focused
