I opened the computer, my hands hovering over the keyboard, and for the first word, I actually didn't know how to type it.
My heart felt hollow. Last night I hardly slept at all. It wasn't being sentimental; I don't know why either. I really had insomnia.
I can't bear to part with it!
The first chapter of Hundred Refinements was published on Origin Point on February 11, 2009. Counting it that way, it really has been more than six years.
Six years. Just thinking about it feels unbelievable. Back then, not even in my dreams did I imagine that I would write this book for so long. Six years. I was only in my twenties then... now I feel like I'm already old.
A little sentimental, isn't it? But it's the truth. In these six years alone, during the process of writing Hundred Refinements, I went through marriage twice.
The first time, I met the wrong person and divorced very quickly. I still remember crying while updating the novel that day. Every single thing is still vivid before my eyes. At the time, I told myself that I had already failed in love; I could not lose in my career.
Fortunately, I managed it. Over six years, with everyone's support, Phantom Rain of course doesn't dare say that he has become some great god, but thankfully, I have become an author with a little bit of fame.
I don't have to work nine to five. The income from Hundred Refinements is enough to support a family's life. Truly, thank you all. Everything Phantom Rain has now was given by you.
