I first came across Purple Moon about half a year ago. He rarely made posts or replies, and the posts he did make were basically all update-demanding posts. Whenever Hundred Refinements unleashed 9,000 words, he would tip 10,000 Origin Point coins. At the time, I had never seen a Hundred Refinements reader tip 10,000 at once (though I had seen Wandering Italy's tipping post, dug up from the grave of an old thread). Before long, he became a Hundred Refinements Alliance Leader, which shocked me greatly.
But that was not the end of it. Next, he became the Alliance Leader for Phantom Rain's newly released old book, Dual Cultivation of Magic and Martial Arts. Since I was not used to reading fantasy, I had not read Dual Cultivation of Magic and Martial Arts, so I asked Moon whether it was any good. I had forgotten what he said, but the meaning was that he had not read it either!
And that was still not the end. He went on to secure a second alliance leadership for Hundred Refinements, and then, most recently, a third!
Moon also left me with the following impressions:
1. He was a man of his word; once he made a promise, he would definitely keep it;
2. He was both an update chaser and a lurker. He had claimed quite a few first seats in bounty posts; if he did not chase updates or read posts, that would be rather unlikely;
3. He was a reader who was both madly passionate and calm-headed. He threw money around fiercely, but he mainly looked at the update volume and would not spend on a momentary impulse.
