Looking over the past several chapters, one faction after another had gradually surfaced, and the Asura Gate was about to open as well. The mountain rain was about to come, and the wind had already filled the tower. Before this game began, I, too, would analyze the possible factional arrangements for the journey into the Asura Gate:
I. Human World factions:
1. Lin Xuan, Yue'er, and their group. From the name Asura Gate, it was easy to see that it had much to do with Yue'er, the reincarnation of the Asura King. I guessed that Xiao Tao's or Yue'er's past-life memories would guide them toward this journey; and since Yue'er's origins were far too earthshaking, Meng Ruyan and Qin Yan probably would not travel with them.
2. The six major Human Race powers of Cloud Province led by Wang Tinglou. (Forty years should have been enough for Horizon Sea Pavilion and Lin Xuan to join hands and wipe out the Ten Thousand Buddhas Sect. Ah, but since Ruyan was Tinglou's sister-in-law, the other sects would hold back out of consideration and not lend a hand, right?) How could the six great sects that had entrenched themselves in Cloud Province for a million years not know about the Asura Gate?
3. The Demon Race faction. The Demon Race could not possibly have only one Lihe-stage Nine-Headed Ancestor; there should have been other Lihe experts as well. Otherwise, how could a mere pre-Lihe Nine-Heads have dealt with the Human Race as an equal? But would Peacock Fairy Yuanyuan appear among the Demon Race party? I was really looking forward to it!
