"Damn, this weather really changed at the drop of a hat." Seeing that some parts of the sea had even begun to freeze over, Roy wondered whether he had somehow arrived directly in the New World. By all rights, the weather in the Four Seas should have been relatively normal.
"I finally understand why the Navy deployed such a large force on Dongdong Island without anyone ever discovering it. In weather this harsh, if the Ironclad Pirates hadn't stumbled in here by accident, it might have remained undiscovered for decades."
Fortunately, although the weather here was unpredictable, there had at least been no disaster-level phenomena such as super-(censored) storms. Otherwise, Roy would have had to reconsider whether to press on.
The power of the world could not be resisted. Even someone as strong as Golden Lion had still lost to a sudden storm.
"Captain, Dongdong Island is in sight. That black dot is it."
"Dongdong Island has a large force stationed there. To be safe, we should gather some intelligence first. But we're still too far away—sail forward a little farther."
Roy did not dare let the fleet get too close. It would be bad if they alerted the enemy.
Thus, under Roy's command, the fleet crawled along at a snail's pace. Only when Roy felt they were close enough did he have the sails lowered.
Nightmare!
"Hey, Steven, wake up. You're sleeping on watch again. If Rear Admiral Weite sees you, he'll surely lecture you again."
Steven—no, that unlucky fellow—had already sunk into a dream. The one occupying his body now was Roy!
Fortunately, the instant Roy descended, he had already read that unfortunate man's memories. Imitating his behavior and manner of speaking was no challenge at all.
"Ha, thanks, buddy. Something I ate at lunch upset my stomach.
