After reading America's proposal, the representatives of every nation present felt sick. A hostile alien civilization had already come to Earth, yet the USA was still thinking about plunder, about stripping industry from its allies and moving it back to its homeland.

However, from the USA's perspective, it was understandable why it did this. It had no island chains to shield it from threats across the Pacific Ocean; only Hawaii stood alone at the front.

Strategically speaking, it was a salient. Without other islands to serve as mutual footholds, it faced the threat of alien civilization alone, with all supplies dependent on sea transport. Once those sea lanes were cut off, it would become a dead zone.

After decades of self-inflicted damage, the USA was now paying a terrible price. Its domestic industries had been hollowed out, its industrial base was ruined, and skilled workers had become a lost generation. These technical workers were not laborers who merely sold their strength; they were talents who required long-term training.

Without skilled workers, were they supposed to expect North American junkies, LGBT+ people, woke liberals, saintly leftists, and other absurd creatures to work in factories?

Where would the talent and industry come from? They could not be cultivated domestically, so they could only be seized elsewhere. And now, it could be taken openly and legitimately. Europe, especially as a strategic rear area, had been placed on the USA's menu.

Over in Asia, it was also time to slaughter a few of the dogs America had raised. Once the Pacific Ocean was cut off, they would be useless anyway!
