In the teachers' office, Shi Tiexin and Jia Guangsu sat facing each other, staring wide-eyed.
Shi Tiexin said nothing, because he had no idea why Old Jia had called him out. He had been keeping a very low profile lately and definitely had not caused any trouble. Of that, he was very confident.
And Old Jia was studying Shi Tiexin as well.
Originally, he had planned to tear into him the moment he arrived, giving him a thunderous wake-up call. He was the mighty Old Jia of the Electric Current, brimming with power—how could he not unleash a big move? But after sitting face-to-face with Shi Tiexin, he changed his mind. Looking carefully, he found Shi Tiexin's condition completely different from what he had imagined.
He had thought Shi Tiexin would now be the sort of delinquent filled with indignation, rebellion and Evil Qi seeping from his eyes into his bones, someone who needed the iron fist of a teacher's grace to hammer him back onto the righteous path.
But looking more closely now, that... did not seem to be the case.

When he had fallen from Class Three to Class Seven, he could not be said to have been full of resentment, but his drive had certainly waned.
