What did an ordinary power distribution station look like?
A distribution cabinet, countless branch wires, rows upon rows of flashing red and green buttons, and roaring cooling fans.
The Vanguard's power distribution station was different from an ordinary distribution room.
The Vanguard's power distribution station was one super~~huge distribution cabinet, walls covered in flashing red and green buttons, with a cooling system piped in directly from outer space.
Hmm... was it a little low-end? Didn't it feel like the art style was not sci-fi enough?
That was normal. Twenty years ago, this Worldline's development path had been no different from the Black Reverence Worldline's, and had even lagged slightly behind. It was only later, when the Fierce Woman Dr. Fang descended from the heavens and led the trend all the way, that Science and Technology took a great leap forward.
But the foundation was still that foundation, and the style was still that style. Dr. Fang would not personally handle every last detail either, so it was not overly sci-fi.
Forget the low-end parts; look only at the parts that were not low-end—the wires were thicker than ordinary people could imagine.
Every cable here had a diameter exceeding twenty centimeters. Someone with smaller hands could not even wrap both hands around one. The connectors were even more enormous, and the plug-in bolts were the size of grenade shells. On Earth, it would take three strong men carrying one together to insert such a plug-in bolt into the distribution cabinet.
And there were more than forty such wires in this distribution station.
The Vanguard was, after all, a nuclear fusion-powered spaceship. Its electrical load was too high; if the cables were not thick enough, they simply could not withstand such powerful currents.
Now, every red and green light had gone out,
