Now that he had opened the path of differentiation for the Heavenly Evolution Bodies, these microorganisms would differentiate and evolve in countless directions according to Chen Jin's will. Some would become producers, some decomposers, some consumers at every level. They would adapt to all kinds of environments, utilize every kind of resource, and ultimately gather those resources into Chen Jin alone. That was the true path to higher evolution.
At the same time, the enormous flesh body outside would continue digesting the Forward. It would transform matter, grow and mutate, and finally become a biomechanical starship far superior to the Forward of the past.
Three hours later, the new structure would complete its integration, and fusion power would be completely under Chen Jin's command. At that point, he would easily break free from Mars's gravitational shackles.
